Bronwynn Mertz-Penzinger has worked on stage and screen (in German and English) as an actor and improvisor with the English Lovers, Orcas Island Project and Vienna Theatre Project amongst others, as well as being a CliniClown, Voice Over Artist and Acting Teacher. She was also performing and teaching improvisation at countless renowned theater festivals all over the world.
Bronwynn’s interest in the Feldenkrais Method began during her theatre training and experience in performance, building on the principles of recognizing and releasing residual tension, knowing yourself and being more fully present in the moment.
She graduated from the Feldenkrais International Training Program (2015-2019) at the Feldenkrais Institute in Vienna. She is furthering her studies in an advanced training program called Child’Space (2019-2022), created by Chava Shelhav, specializing in the needs and development of babies and children from birth to independent walking.
She teaches Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons as part of the curriculum at the Vienna English Theater Academy (VETA) as well as open classes at Schule des Theaters, and since May 2020 she is also teaching classes online via Zoom. She is a qualified Pregnant Pauses® teacher and offers classes upon request. In 2019 she opened her private practice where she also offers Functional Integration lessons.
She will be the teacher of the workshop „Feldenkrais“.
