In cooperation with the Törn e.V., Viviane Vanessa Eggers and a team of international women are organizing the first Impro-Spirit-Retreat in Colombia. More precisely, in the beautiful city of Barichara, a magical place in the middle of the mountains.
A very special experience awaits the participants from September, 14th to 24th, 2026.
What is the Impro-Spirit-Retreat?
Unleash your creativity – at the Impro-Spirit-Retreat!
Are you ready for a special kind of adventure? Immerse yourself in a unique 10-day improv theatre retreat that will not only develop your playful skills, but may also take you on a transformative journey.
Experience improv theater in a new way
In our Impro-Spirit-Retreat, you will get to know the art of improvisational theater in a more profound and playful way. Our experienced trainers (see below) will accompany you on an adventure that not only gives you creative freedom, but also helps you to deepen your spontaneity in a very special environment. Without everyday worries or festival stress, finally only the moment really counts. You and the Now.
Connecting with nature and spiritual experiences
But that’s not all: to unleash your creativity, we combine improvisational theatre with the healing power of nature and the fire of South American culture!
In the midst of a breathtaking landscape we offer you a variety of activities close to nature – be it a meditative hike that is going to touch all our four senses or a “Sound healing” course, breathing and physical exercises in the open air , for example drum yoga sessions in the morning, or time for reflection around the campfire.
Cultural learning and community
We also immerse ourselves in local traditions and creative forms of expression, for example, with a traditional handcraft course or a Salsa Workshop. As the hosts cooperate with a small theatre in the city of Barichara, there is the possibility of a showcase and thus “giving something back” to the local community.

Accommondation
We have three different accommodation options.
Firstly, you can stay in the main house. There we have a three-bed room and a four-bed room. (no bunk beds) The rooms are right next to the house where we have our meals and where the improv classes and other courses take place. I’m sure I’ve already mentioned that the energy in this place is magical 😉
For this choice, we have to ask for a small surcharge of 9€ per night, so 81€ in total.
For the people who would like to have a single room, we have this possibility in a hostel, exactly 10 minutes walk. The walk there itself, through the green countryside with a view of the mountains, is wonderful.
There are exactly four single rooms available. These are available for an extra 45€ per night, i.e. a total of 405€.
Last but not least, we have the option of staying in a shared room with bunk beds in the hostel. This is the most economical option. At no extra charge. Including a breath-taking walk to the accommodation.
Specials
Vibrational Ritual
With this ritual, we will officially open our retreat. During the first hour, we will focus on moving and clarifying the intention each person brings, using somatic practices that help you connect with your highest frequency—your authentic self. This will be followed by an hour of sound vibration, allowing you to embark on this journey with the openness needed to embrace all parts of yourself—resistance, fear, judgment, and your creative power—and align fully with your intention.
This ritual will be facilitated by Patricia Macaya, an expert in sound healing and somatic practices.
IN-NAHA Ritual
In-Naha is a restorative somatic practice that works with the available energy of the field. Through this session, you will explore:
- Releasing stagnant energy stored in your cellular memory
- Reconnecting with sensations of joy, calm, trust, and gratitude
- Regulating your nervous system through somatic resources
- Opening your intuitive, receptive channel beyond the mental space
- Processing bodily impulses that have been blocked by traumatic experiences
This exploration will support and enhance your skills as an improviser, an actor and performer of all kinds.
