Internationales Festivalensemble

An ensemble of internationally experienced and well-known improvisers from different cultural backgrounds worked together during TÖRN Festival 2022. A merging of cultures and the shared experience of learning from one another was at the forefront of the event. The mixture of experimental improv formats and international ensemble work was presented througjhout the festival in Hamburg.

These great artists were sharing their knowledge in live workshops.

Chris Mead (UK)

Chris Mead (UK)

is a UK-based performer and theatre-maker who teaches and coaches improvisation in London and around the world. He studied theatre at Royal Holloway College, University of London and improvisation at iO and The Annoyance Theatre in Chicago. 
Felipe Ortiz (Bogota, COL)

Felipe Ortiz (Bogota, COL)

is a performer, director, and teacher interested in exchanging, interacting, playing, and sharing experiences with different artists worldwide. He is passionate about the body in movement and its possibilities.
Inbal Lori (Berlin & Tel Aviv)

Inbal Lori (Berlin & Tel Aviv)

is a graduate of Jerusalem Art High School (1994) and Nissan Nativ acting studio (2000). Since then she has been writing and acting for television and theatre. She has won prizes and scholarships for her acting and writing.
Katy Schutte (UK)

Katy Schutte (UK)

is one of the UK's original long form improvisers. She performs and teaches all over the world, is a Head Teacher for Hoopla (the UK’s biggest improv school) and Co-Founder Director of the International Improv Station.
Roland Trescher (Berlin, DE)

Roland Trescher (Berlin, DE)

Roland Trescher has been involved with improvisational theater on and around the stage for almost 30 years. His current topics are relevance, taboos, resilience and positive psychology. At TÖRN-Festival he experiments with crossing the red line in order to find one's own path, to find new positive visions and insights with impact for ourselves.
Verena Klimm (Hamburg, DE)

Verena Klimm (Hamburg, DE)

Verena Klimm is an improv enthusiast and a member of the well known improv group Steife Brise where she used to run the improv school. She regularly performs and teaches in and around Hamburg.
Viviane Eggers (Hamburg, DE)

Viviane Eggers (Hamburg, DE)

Viviane has been an improviser since 2006 and an ensemble member of the "Steifen Brise" in Hamburg since 2011. In 2012 she finished her acting studies with a diploma in stage performance and has never missed the stage since then. In between, she worked as a „classic“ actress with a permanent engagement at the „Westfälisches Landestheater“ in 2014/15.
